In 1985, Jong Shyn Shipbuilding was established by Mr Han Bi Xiang. It comprises
of 5 factories, namely Jong Shyn, Xin Gao, Lin Sheng, two Xin Tian factories, Xin
Chuang and Jade Yacht Shipbuilding which was set up last year.
The Group began operation since 1985. In 1987, the Group expanded its business and
purchased Jong Shyn Shipbuilding Factory, Xin Chuang Maintenance Factory and Xin
Gao Shipbuilding Factory.
The Group seeks constant improvement in the technical field and endeavors to make
breakthroughs whenever it encounters a bottleneck. With the full support of all
human resources and equipment, the three factories work on building and maintenance
at the same time. In 1996, the Group purchased two CNC cutting machines and the
BMT shipbuilding software and has entered the era of automated production. In 1997,
the Group was given the Best Performance in Automated Production Award by the Ministry
of Economic Affairs.

Throughout these years the Group has built more than two hundred ships, managed
the maintenance process of over one hundred ships for the Navy, The Special Police
Seventh Headquarters, Taiwan Navigation Corp. and CPC Corporation Taiwan and over
four hundred ships for private companies. The Group has earned the reputation and
admiration by its fraternity and clients. |

The Group was awarded the ISO 9001：2000 issued by Lloyd’s Register in Britain

2003
Liang He and Liang Cheng Shipbuilding factories were absorbed into the Group and
the Jade Yacht Shipbuilding was established to enter the international market of
luxury yacht building.

2005
The Group won the Group Champion Award in a contest for MIG and TIG in Welding Skill
of Aluminum Alloy hosted by Taiwan Welding Society. (including Gold, Silver and
Bronze in MIG individual contest and Gold and Bronze in TIG individual contest)

CEO Mr Han Bi Xiang obtained the Distinguished Contribution Award issued by Taiwan
Welding Society.

CEO Mr Han Bi Xiang obtained the Excellent Contribution Award issued by the Kaohsiung
International Management Council.

The Group’s performance was evaluated by the National Trade Union Confederation
and it was certified an Excellent Performance Company
